My thought was that after playing Kameo, all platform games before it were not as exciting due to how I loved Kameo's presentation and game mechanics. Then I played R&C: TOD and Kameo was completely shot out the door. Ratchet was and is to date the best platform game I have ever played. Now looking at what they have done with Banjo... No way, it looks like crap IMHO. And the 80% vehicle crap? WTH?
Sorry, but I am going to be way to busy playing LBP and re-running through Ra...
Man this game is going to be great.
In short, these words were used to describe what it is like to work with the PS3:
Amazing
Dramatic
Successful
Impressive
Quality
Convergence
Excited
All-encompasing
Entertainment
It is in these words used that we see how wonderful it was for this particular dev to work with the PS3.
Yet again you amaze me with your incite. So, how's Ken doing these days?
MaximusPrime - You can do invires through the XMB with Rainbow Six Vegas 2 and a few others. It's all about the devs setting it up to do so. Sony has given them the tools it's just that many devs choose not to use it.
And I play quite a bit. Having two children... Now that is a whole other situation. lol
It’s a bit far fetched to say that Sony will be embarrassed about this issue. This is a Ubisoft and Free Radical game, not a Sony made game. They have proven themselves time and time again to produce good games and even great ones. As for 3rd party groups, they have to come a ways before truly proving themselves. Few have done it (Infinity Ward, D3, Capcom, etc) but in the end many have a ways to go.
When it comes to 3rd party developers, you have to figure that with their fir...
Great to see that some people can put down the Sony hate and actually review a game for what it truly is. I can believe a 7 more than I can see the game being a 4. IGN is whacked out.
But not something to swear by. These charts simply show how Europe is still pro-Sony. Great news for Sony and Nintendo.
I can actually believe that these guys played it and gave it a more true to life review. Unlike IGN's 4 out of 10 and some other puke sites, these guys must have actually put down the glee they had from the last couple weeks of GTa4 and brought their expectations back to the FPS arena. That is what this is, an FPS and I would say that this line best sums up why the game is getting some bad reviews:
"Haze’s fall is, in part, amplified by our heightened expectations"
...
Imagine that... Maybe it's more like the most accessible game and it's free... Maybe?
Simple as that. If released, I will be there day one.
And this game review site gave it a 3 out of 10. So somewhere between the two lies Haze? Come on, I doubt that Haze is as bad as Turning Point: Fall of Liberty. Gamespy also gave Blacksite a 5 out of 10, and they say that Haze is worse than that glitchy pile of dog poo?
Sorry, but I am finding it hard to believe that this game can be this bad. lol
Sorry but has Haze ever been up there with the likes of GTA4? DMC4? GT5? MGS4? Triple A titles are the big hitters and also, in most cases, proven franchises. Haze has simple been touted as something different, something new with the use of Nectar and the few other game mechanics that is uses. It is a FPS however that was hyped and is now receiving mixed reviews from people who like to be overly critical of games hyped as much as Haze was. Same thing happened with Lair. Over hyped - mediocre ...
If there is content in the second interview that was not int he first then yeah, it DOES add to the information about the development of this game. Why not place your nazi-angst for duplicate posts towards posts that are simple spam or completely bogus rather than slamming on something that actually adds to the N4G pages?
Move on Fishy, move on...
Sure way for Capcom to eliminate some competition? Tell the little guy that they should stick with their eccentric IP's then get slammed by the publisher for outrageous content all the while they continue to release a rehash of sequels and clones to the public... Am I off base in thinking this?
This is how reviews should be IMHO. Scores are great for the sheep that can't make a decision for themselves but these review types are great for those of us that will play the game to see if WE like it. I don't base my opinions on groups like IGN or 1Up, I base them on my own play time. A rental is cheap and Gamefly makes it easy for me.
Besides, everybody knows you cannot spell IGNorant without IGN. lol
MS is seeing their sales drop below Sony's and now they are talking smack to gain press. Sadly enough to say, the people are voting on who's year it is by their purchase of the PS3 over the 360. Since last November the PS3 has outsold the 360 worldwide. Now with great games out and on the horizon, the PS3 is taking this year for its own. If Shane wishes that Sony take next year too then so be it. I'm sure Sony didn't need his approval for it but the reiteration is a nice touch for Shane.
Rocked. If anybody passes this game up, even as a rental due to some silly review, they are sadly making a big mistake. Sounds like the game will be a love it or hate it experience. Or perhaps there are just too many Sony haters in the review seats these days. lol
This guy just needs to shut up for a few weeks. I have seen his name way too often and he is now on my "overtly obnoxious PR butt-hats" list. For every one decent interview, the guy makes ten pathetic PR comments that help deteriorate the legacy that Peter Moore had left behind. Sorry to all you Xbox fans that grovel at eh feet of Shane but this guy is a douche.
